LEXAR JumpDrive FireFly ERROR

Question Posted Thursday February 21 2008, 12:41 am

I have a lexar USB Flash drive, when i plug it in an error comes up saying usb device not recognized bla bla bla.

on device manager, Universal serial bus controllers, UNKOWN DEVICE, properties,

it says that there is No DRIVER is installed (i think this is the problem but it was working fine for the past 3 months). heres the confusing thing, i clicked the DRIVER tab at the top and it has information about the driver provider (microsoft), the driver date (7/1/2001), the driver version (5.1.2600.0) and the digital signer (microsoft windows publisher) but when i click DRIVER DETAILS, it clearly says that there is not driver installed (no driver is required or has been loaded for this device).!!!!

how do i fix this? I have tried:

restarting my computer
unplug, replug
using other computers

Oh and it didnt come with a CD.

Does anyone know how i can fix this problem, or if they know where to download a "driver"?

Thanks so much in advance and sorry if it was a bit too long just wanted to give you as much information as needed.

Thanks once again

Kronix

Download the drivers here:

Pick the correct driver according to your device and operating system. Contact lexar if you have trouble.

Also, driver info in Device Manager is always useless. There's no point in looking there.
