Okay so this is like the second day of my period, i started yesterday...But i have been on my period for about 4 years now and its done it before but im still kinda wondering...
Okay well in my pad there was like these clumps of blood, like two of them a little one and a big one, and i kinda feel them but it just feels like i let out a lot of blood at one time. What are these?? and another thing do these things help you period get over with quicker? And is it true that the more you cramp the quicker the blood gets out?? thank you!! :)
xxxRadioGagaxxx answered Tuesday February 19 2008, 8:14 pm: They're blood clots. As blood is passing through your uterus...the lining and all..the blood tends to clump together. It's perfectly normal [and harmless] to feel them come out so don't even worry about it. Nope, these don't help you get your period over with quicker. Nothing can, really.
To answer your last question: As far as I'm concerned, cramps may mean more contraction of your vaginal muscles...thus letting out more blood. However, it does not necessarily mean that more blood will continue flowing out...and your period cycle, as a result, remains the same.

These things do not make your period go faster. Also, doctors don't even really know why cramps happen. I normally have cramps, but my period usually lasts 7-8 days. So I don't think the more you cramp, the quicker the blood comes out. Hope I answered your questions sufficiently. [ schwartz's advice column | Ask schwartz A Question ]
