birth mark?

ok so my right shoulder is darker than anywhere else on my body.it looks almost like i was burned when i was ittle but it is hairier then anywhere else on my body!i meen its not like super hairy but it deffinately has more hair then my left shoulder!my parent think its just a birth mark but could it possibly be a burn mark?my mom is a docter and she told me the name of something that it could possibly be.it starts with an A and it means an areea on your skin that is darker and has more hair than anywhere else.i dont wanna ask her again because ive asked her like 100 times because i keep forgetting!do any of you think you know what the name is?and also is there anyway that i could tell if it is a burn mark or if it is just a birth mark---by the way i was adopted so that is why my parents wouldnt know!!thanx to anyone who answers!!!!!!!

the other person is right burn marks don't grow hair --i have one on my hand since i was like 2 but now i'm 13 and its still there...so some do not go away. i'm sure your not adopted your parents probally would have told you. anyway, maybe ask your mom if you could get it cheaked out and if she says no then just tell her that its conserning you. and that you think something might be wrong

burn marks don't grow any hair and a burn mark goes away (but it can take years). they are also sort of 'bumpy' and after getting burned, you usually can't really feel anything on the burn after, since it damaged the nerves.

birthmarks, on the other hand, can have hair grow from them
