Adderall is a powerful drug. In my opinion, it should never be prescribed to people unless all other alternatives have been tried. And prescriptions to minors should be incredibly rare.
If you take adderall often (without a doctor's recommendation), your life will be wonderful for about 2 years. It makes you better in a lot of ways; smarter, more charismatic, and more energetic. But after that, your life will be hell. You'll become immune to it and suffer serious withdrawal for the rest of your life. Many people have killed themselves after their adderall fun time was over.
Don't take adderall without a prescription, and if your doctor prescribes it without trying every other possible option, get a new doctor. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
