is there a way to save a video to your computer off youtube?

I just wanted to add on to the previous columnist's answer, which is to click the ARROW next to the blinking icon. Don't click the actual icon. Click the little arrow, and you'll see something like [this is an example], Alicia_Keys_No_One.flv. FLV is a very common file extension, it's used by Google video, Youtube, ect. and it's just a flash video.

To convert videos that are playable on iPods and Windows Media Player, go to vixy.net or zamzar.net.

Yes. If you dont use Mozilla Firefox, dowload and install it, then go Here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and install the download helper. When it recognizes a video, like on youtube it animates the icon. You can then click on the icon and download the video.
