spotting is only a little blood every now and again... and your period usually the whole 5-7 days

Actually, you shouldn't be spotting when you know you should be getting your period. If you do, it's time to see your gyno.

Well yes and no. Usually you ''spot'' when your either just starting your period (for the first time) or just ending your period each month.

Sometimes girls ''spot'' after sex, but not often
