::Edit::

You do realize that this question is relatively stupid, right? I mean, IF they were going to drop the price on the game, they wouldnt announce it. Ive worked in the video game industry. Prices just change, and stores get notified when the data changes in the computer. I cant count the number of times I've seen games sold in one of my stores where the price the computer displayed was lower than the sticker on the case because we had a price change and didnt know it until someone asked for a $49.99 game and the total was $29.00 or something like that.

In a year you should have been able to save the extra 20 dollars. Just pony up and by the stupid game already, jeez.

::/edit::

Would you drop the price on a game that people literally buy your system for?

I wouldnt.
