I ama radioactive? I started a new job last year. Nobody said hello, made eyecontact or said goodmorning. I figured it was bc I was new. This year, the new employees have made friends with old and new employees. So, its not the new thing. Another employee shares my situation and we talk about it. We wonder if its the hispanic thing but then we see other hispanics get the warm treatment. So, do we just not fit in? or do we work with a bunch of rude people?

Have you tired talking or saying hello yourself? Sometimes jobs have their own clique. I personally wouldn't worry about it too much. There's always life after work. It's my philosophy not to mix business with pleasure. Meaning, I don't care if I fit in at work. Obviously the person who hired you thinks you are right for the job and that's all that matters right now. Just continue to do a good job and don't worry about it. Eventually they'll except you into their clique. ]
