when you get out of the shower put mousse in the roots of your hair.
and then take styling wax and turn your head upside down and scrunch your hair to your head with the styling wax.
get it how you want it and hair spray it downnn.
and you might want to carry the hairspray and wax with you through out the day.

hope i helped =]

To avoid making it look flat, use volumizing hair spray. =] I have very long and thick hair, so it's harder to scrunch. I'd love to have thin hair!

Good luck and let me know how things work out!
