finding alternative music
Hey! I've been on your column a few times and noticed you seem to know a lot about bands/artists that not many people know about. I was wondering if you could tell me any good websites for basically browsing music online, or downloading rarer band music - I live in Canada, where free music downloads are legal, so that part isn't a problem.
I know a lot of people are "discovered" through myspace, but I don't have it, so any other sites would be helpful =]
Most of my fave music runs along the lines of punk/indie/emo, if that helps any.

Limewire is also really good and a big hit with a lot of people, but I like to go on Itunes Radio and click on Idobi radio. A lot of undiscovered bands are played on there. :]
I love indie bands, and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you quick enough, my computer wigged out for a while, we had to get geek squad :]
