battery-operated hair remover
has anyone tried these? do they work? will hair grow back worse? or grow back at all? also, how much do they cost and what brand would you recommend?

I have one. I usually use it for my eyebrows. It does work very well as long as it's kept clean. Usually the hair does grow back worse, but as long as you add it to your everyday routine it shouldn't be a problem.
I wouldn't recommend using them for anything other than facial hair (i.e. bikini link, legs) because it would take forever and it usually doesn't clip the hair all the way to the root.
