I was wondering if anyone knew if alcohol was served at all ages shows at the House of Blues? I want to take my sister to the Honda Civic Tour at HOB in Orlando in April, but our parents won't let her go if alcohol is being served. I've been to all ages shows there before, and I don't recall seeing anyone drinking, so I would assume they only serve at shows that are 21+, but I thought I'd ask anyway just to see if anyone knows for sure.
Thanks!

I am underage, and they would card people, and if they were over 21 they would give a wrist band (or something to that effect). They definitely card you though so it's kind of a safe environment. HOB would lose money if they didn't serve alcohol at all their shows, so I doubt that they wouldn't... however, I am only speaking about the HOB I go to, which isn't in Orlando. Your best bet is to call them and ask about that particular show. [ uisforukelele's advice column | Ask uisforukelele A Question ]
It has all the House of Blues locations as well as venues their Live Nation Promotions firm owns in California. Call the number of the venue and ask for their alcohol policy when it comes to all ages shows. From what I know about HOB where I live there's no booze present at all ages shows.
At least here its an issue because their liquor license can be pulled if there is alcohol and minors because the bar is on the hook if they serve someone they didn't card. That's the way HOB does it in Toronto and Chicago. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
