what to call us?
so this guy asked me out yesturday but i just want to take it really slow. I don't want a label on it though yet. but when people start to ask me now if were going out, i don't know what to tell them. I cant just say i don't want to talk about it cause my friends don't work that way, and this guy goes to my school so its pretty obvious. what do i tell my friends?

No rush, just tell them that you're dating. You don't have to be a couple to date. But don't get caught up on labels either. If you like him, cool. Does it matter what you call each other?

Just tell them you are not boyfriend and girlfriend, but you are kind of seeing each other, or "dating". Let them know that you and him have worked it out about not getting serious real fast and you two are just seeing how things go. If that doesn't work for your friends, let them know that you are undecided about what to do exactly as in a relationship with him, and you will tell them when you figure it out.
