BeFABULOUSxo answered Wednesday February 6 2008, 10:56 am: Learning to dance is a lot easier said than done. The MAIN thing about dancing is to find a rythym. Help your boyfriend out by just grabbing his hands and moving them to the beat. It sounds stupid, but it'll work. If you prefer grinding, just put your back against his chest and when he puts his hands on your hips/waist, hold his hands. Just like .. rock back and forth as you'd normally do but make sure that his hips stay in sync with yours.
I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more help!
Good luck though and let me know how things go! [ BeFABULOUSxo's advice column | Ask BeFABULOUSxo A Question ]
aidenisfire answered Friday February 1 2008, 9:38 pm: it's hard to teach somebody how t free-style dance (like the kind done at dances) because it's exactly that: free-style. there's no specific steps. however, you can show him how to slow dance. show him how to move his feet, where to put his hands, etc. as for fast dancing, if you're grinding you just have to show him how to move with your body a bit. as for non-contact dancing, just tell him to feel the beat and try to work with that. there's no right or wrong way to dance. good luck.
