hey this may sound like a stupid question but im just wondering....you no how your parents or people will say you dont no wat love is your too young? well i think i really am in love with my boyfriends. im 13 and he's 15. we been goin out for 1 year and a couple months and i love him to death!!!! i say i love him and he says he loves me. i told him that im on love with him and he said the same to me but im not really sure how to tell if your in love. thanks in advance!

hey sweetie! i totallyyyyyy understand where you're coming from. i've been dating my boyfriend for 3 years on march 11th..i'm 17 right now, i was 14 when we started dating. even at a young age, i was never one to throw around the "L" word. so even though i was having really intense feelings for my boyfriend, i refused to say I love you for almost a year because I understood that as a freshman, I DIDNT know what love was..to some people it may even sound silly for a senior to think she's in love but i know i am..and looking back on it, i truly knew i was in love with him about when i turned 15. we're going to college together and are fully planning on spending the rest of our lives with each other.
i reallyyy don't want to put a damper on your feelings here but to be honest, i think you ARE a little too young to be thinking you're in love. especially when you started dating when you were 12. assuming your parents are in love (if not, compare them to another adult couple that are obviously in love and have been married for a long time)..could you really say that you and your boyfriend love each other like THEY love each other? if you're mature at all, i would guess the answer is no.
saying this right now, i almost feel guilty because when i first started dating my boyfriend, i despised people like me. you just have to take it one day at a time and PLEASE! don't rush things..you're in middle school for heavens sake. remember that millions of people confuse love for infatuation.
