i asked my sister who is 11 and she said that girls at her school wear a lot of those zipper sweaters are really seen. ALso tank-tops with those sweaters are popular. She says they wear button-down shirts are good too (but that may be a little girly). Normal tee-shirts are good. Kids at there age are still new to actually caring about what to wear but most still don't care.

well it is getting to spring and stuff and she can try wearing bermuda shorts i think i spelled that right.i don't think they are to girly and they are in fashion for kids that age.hope i helped.
