well im a cutter i have been for 4 years now i am 14 years old i started when i was 10 usally people start cutting because somthing has changed dramaticly in there life such as there parents getting divorced or even moving to a new town and not having any friends some people think that people cut just to get attention its not true most people dont want anyone to know that they cut the only person that i have ever told is my best friend it is very hard to stop cutting once you have started its not a game its your road to death most people dont know that one day they will get so sad and cut too deep and then they could bleed to death people who preform self ingury are not trying to comit suicied they just cant talk about there problems so they just "let" them all out by cutting or burning if you would like some more information about it feel free to ask me good luck i hope that i helped a little bit
