2000 bmw 328ci

i am considering getting a 2000 bmw 328ci. i was wondering if this car is really high-maintenance? does it break down easily&stuff? what are some problem areas that occur often with these cars that i should look at? thanks!

Well, I'll be honest with you. I'm more a Chevy fan than anything else...no I'm just a Chevy fan. Overall BMW makes higher end good running cars. However, be willing to auction off your first born and sell a kidney if anything major should go wrong. Unless you can do the work yourself.
This is just some basic prices for parts I Googled for your model, not counting labor cost, add $25 per hour average for labor and not counting any additional work such as mill work or machine.
Get a warranty if you can!
Power steering pump - $300
Head gasket set, possible $300-$400+
Headlight replacement $70-$100
