You need to be able to play for awhile without getting tired. Get in shape. Jog a mile atleast each day. Work on your dribbling, like when you jog, take the ball with you and work on your dribbling. You should pratice your shooting as well. When you shoot, you want to make sure you jump and only use 1 hand. You should be past the shooting with 2 hand stage. You should also keep praticing the things yall do in pratices. Well, I hope I helped. If you have anymore questions about basketball or any other sport, message me.

Good Luck!

First and for most. you have to be in shape and stay in shape! do allot of running because that will help you get straonger and you won't be as tired during games. Excersizing is the best. You have to get your body ready for th esport before you do anything fancy. Believe me, it helps! Afterwards practice shooting and dribbling. Pay attension to what the coach says and ask him/her how you can perform better and what you are doing wrong. Ask your coach for tips and helpful hints. But i would empasize the running the most!

Basketball is my favorite sport of all time. Anyway, I say that you should practice a lot on your dribbling skills and cross-overs. How well you drive to the basket and make lay-ups. It's very important to stay low and bend your knees and keep your arm on the person defending you so that if the defender tries to steal the ball, he/she'll foul you. Maybe a good teammate or someone you know very well can show you some moves on a court sometime. You may want to check out some basketball clinics or camps to help you improve on your skills. During practice, give the coach your 110% skills and pay attention to what he's saying. Play your hardest. Hope I helped and congradulations on making the team!
