Since the vaginal walls aren't being stretched out.. it seems to tighten up slightly. Especially if you don't stretch it out by fingering. This has happened to me. My first time didn't hurt at all.. but months later.. when we took like a three week break.. it hurt bad. The main reason is because you're tight and not wet enough.. which can cause your muscles to tense up.. and it just hurts more. If you're not completely relaxed and 'lubricated'.. you won't be in the mood for it completely. If he's being rough, your stomach will have cramps or it's either a warning sign of your period. My boyfriend's size hurts me a lot so maybe that could be a reason? If you haven't had sex in awhile, it's going to hurt a little if you don't use a lubriated condom. it's a lot easier than trying to wait for you to "warm up". it's not fun.
