Cell Phones

Question Posted Tuesday December 25 2007, 8:50 pm

Hi i bought a verizon wireless phone and i thought you could just buy cards like any other prepaid one ( it was supposed to be prepaid ) but it turns out that you need to buy a card and its a dollar a day + ten cents everytime you make a call.Thats kind of crazy so i was wondering, is it possible to get it switched over to another company that has prepaid even though its a verzion phone? thanks

No. Verizon phones are unique in that they do not use SIM cards to transfer information.

Hey, I dont think you can, but Cingular is like that too. It's a dollar a day and then any call that isnt to another Cingular Customer it costs 10 cents a minute. Hope I helped =)
