dry skin?

Question Posted Thursday December 20 2007, 6:16 pm

My skin looks like it's chapped, why is it doing this? It usually happens when I get out of the shower, and after putting on my make-up.

Should I put lotion on before applying make-up? Please help, it's really embarrasing!

use a facial moisturizer after you wash your face. washing your face dries your skin out, so it's important to replenish the natural oils that you lost.

i have the same problem. you should definitelyyy use moisturizer before putting on makeup as long as after you wash your face. also, to get rid of dead skin that's usually there in the winter, use a toner or exfoliator occasionally

Kym is right. Definitely always moisturize before putting on makeup. Do it after you dry your face when you get out of the shower. Be sure to wash your face as much as you can too. In the morning, when you get home from school/work (if you go to school/work), and before bed. Wash all of your makeup off completely because keeping it on for bed demolishes your skin. This should work and in a couple of weeks your skin will be smooth :)

try and get yourself a toning, moisterising set or even use something like savlon or nivea cream is always good you should always mosturise before applying make up or to save time but a tinted moisturiser..if the problem persists then have a quick check up at the doctors..hope this helps
