My Fiance's female co-worker

Question Posted Wednesday July 30 2008, 7:53 pm

So my fiance sometimes mentions the "Lab girls" at work and one time I asked him if they or one of them was pretty, & he got all flustered and stuff... I dont know what they are all about but it annoys me. Then at his work christmas party this girl kept looking over across the room at us alot, trying not to be obvious though, but I am a female and I catch on to that stuff quick. So I mentioned something to my fiance and he said she was one of the "lab girls" I KNEW IT! So i was really annoyed then..could something be going on or maybe they are crushing or something high school like that?? Or am I overreacting? Could you email me an answer? hamrick42@htomail.com

I e-mailed you my response too

I may be ten times younger than you, but I've had experience, so here I go.
If you asked him about it and he got flustered, he was embarrassed by you asking that question, obviously. That could hint he thinks they're attractive, but there probably is nothing going on. Here's signs of cheating, if he shows any of these, I suggest checking more into the situation to make sure he has eyes for you, and only you.

Signs of cheating:
1. He's been away a lot more, or he's been a lot busier than he was before. If that's the case, keep reading.

2. A study in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy found that those people who earned more money were more likely to cheat than those who earned less.

3. While yelling and anger may not seem to be all that connected to cheating, a recent Australian study found that unfaithful partners show many of the same personality characteristics as abusive ones. Those who are more likely to be abusive (verbally or physically) are simply more likely to be unfaithful. What's already bad has the potential of getting even worse.

Otherwise, the girls kept looking over? They could just be jealous. I don't know anything major about your finance' but if he overreacts the NEXT time you ask him about them, I would start worrying.

You asked if you could just be spazzing out, that's a possibility also. You could be, but you shouldn't be to safe. You never know. The thing that makes me consider he is cheating or has thoughts of cheating, is that he got flustered; that's a major sign.

Hope I helped, let me know.
