please help meee
You should take the pill, regardless of what kind/brand for at least a month, if not two, before having sex without a condom. And even after, you should still use one for an extra precaution from pregnancy, and to protect you from STDs.
Birth control screws with your hormones a lot, so the way birth control might effect me, would effect you completely different, because everyone's hormone levels are different. You could gain or lose weight, your face may break out, or it may clear up, certain kinds may make you feel good before your period or make you feel like crap. You just never know. That's why usually you have a sample pack the first month to see how your body will adjust to the change.
If you have an older friend or relative who you can trust that can take you to a clinic, and you hide the pills good, your parents don't have to know anything. However, if you think you are old enough to have sex, you should be able to talk to your parents about it maturely. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]

they tell you to take them for 2 weeks before having unprotected sex, but really you only have to wait a week, they give you the extra week for extra precautions. some side effects include; nausea, tender breasts, and gaining of weight(not as often)
