HP zv6000 CPU upgrade

Generally speaking, it's not possible or not worth the effort to upgrade laptops. Because of their miniturized design, you're better off getting an entirely new laptop.

Furthermore, even if you were to upgrade to a dual-core, that would most likely involve getting a new motherboard (Since you don't have a dual-core now) and with a new motherboard comes getting new RAM. The costs add up.

My advice is to get a new laptop, or to get a nice desktop computer which are upgraded far more easily.
