and lately we have been talking about what the future might hold... we are best friends and we have been talking about eventually going out.... how can i make him trust me that we can have a relationship???

if this guy is your best friends you shoudln't need to make him trust you what you should be thinking about is that he is your best friend,
you might not want to risk becoming a couple in a relationship as if something happens between you 2 then you break up you may lose your best friend over it

If you guys are best friends, he should totally trust you, but if he is having doubts make him smile. Laughing and sharing your secrets with one another proves that the trust in mutual. Honesty is the best policy and I'm sure that if you try your hardest to make him trut you, he will. Being in a relationship can be tough, but don't worry, anybody can make it work. If he tells you a secret be careful of what you say to his friends or even your friends, that's the worst, because if he finds out you said anything, and he doesn't trust that you can manage a relationship, then an intrest between the two of you probably won't be able to start. Be yourself and always rememeber to "cross your heart and hope to die" and don't tell a soul, that's sure to gain his trust that a relationship can work with you. Oh, and one more thing, keep the flirting (if any) with the other guys besides CB down to a minimum, because that really won't help the trusting with the relationship. :]
