Bad habit Okay. I have this weird/creepy habit of chewing my fingers. Like, not the nails, the skin around them. I don't even do it when I'm nervous- I just do it subconsciously all the time and don't notice until they're bleeding. It's destroying my cuticles and it looks wicked nasty. How can I overcome this habit? I hate it. Thanks =)

The best way to end a habit is to replace it with something else. Instead of chewing your fingers, chew a pencil or something similar, when you notice yourself doing that. Of course, chewing a pencil may not be the best way to go, but it would help you overcome tearing up your fingers.
