Laptop
When I log off but my laptop is stll on, when I go to log back on the screen just stays black but I know it is on because of the lights. I'm pretty sure it's going into standby, how do I take it off? Is there anyway I can stop it from going into that mode? Thanks in advance.

Pressing any key on the keyboard should return it. If not, do what breezyd37 says.
To stop it from going into standby, go to start, run and type:
powercfg.cpl
Change "System standby" to "never". This might reduce your battery life.
