GIRL QUESTION!
I have a few questions about periods, I tried searching on google but I got links that showed me what and how a period is. Please help!
I've had my period for almost 2 years now and i'm still using pads.... is that normal?? I tried a tampon once and it hurt sooooooooo badly! So the next time, i wanted to try again but it hurt even more. is this normal?
another question is- is there anyway I can make less blood come out on say like the 2nd day of my period? (without medications...) If you're wondering, its cuz I play a sport and we have a 4 hour practice on saturdays and tomorrow is supposed to be my biggest flow.
another one- when do you think i should be starting to use tampons? Like what is the normal age that teens start using tampons and how can I make it hurt less the next time. Oh and how can I be relaxed before i do it, I know that it hurts less if you relax, but everything I try, my heart is pumping fast and I get all sweaty. I don't know why though.
another one- is there any non-medication things to make cramps hurt less?
thank you very much. I'm 15/f by the way and I got my period in February, 2005. And another thing, Please don't tell me to talk to my mom about this because she passed away and all of my female relatives live in different countries and its hard for me to contact them. I have no sisters either so this is basically the only place I can come to for this sort of help. Thanks again!
2nd question- No, you can't control your bloodflow. :/
3rd question- Use tampons when you're ready to use them.
4th question- eat healthy and excersize, it actually helps. Tylenol's always my savior, but that may just be me.
:] Hope that helps.
EDIT::
You know when you're ready to use them.. well, when you don't get freaked out anymore. When you just relax, take a deep breath and do it. You can always check out [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) that, too, if you have any questions about using one.
