hey yeh to reply to my question i do know some amount about computers im not english so i cant word it very well... i know what ram is i know you need new parts the fact of the matter is my computer came with 2 512 ram chips which are pc 4300 which run at 266 mhz right if i take these out and replace them with 4200 1gb ram chips ddr2 which run at 533 mhz will it work?? i have a intel core duo 4400 processor bus speed of 200mhz anf fbs of 800 mhz will the new ram be compatible??

The RAM should be compatible. For the most part, hardware is made to conform to certain standards, so they should work.
