I'm filing forms to get financial aid for college.
You have to send in your taxes so they can see how much of a grant you are qualified for.
Can someone tell me if my family seems to be qualified for a large amount of financial aid.
So my dad is the only one who works and he has a $93,000 gross income.
It is a family of 4.
We have 2 cars.
And mortgage payments.
"The Federal need analysis formula assesses income, expenses, assets and debts as well as the size of the family and the number of family members attending college to arrive at the Expected Family Contribution, or EFC. The EFC is the amount which the family may reasonably be expected to contribute toward meeting your college expenses. This process is called "need analysis"...."
So really the best you can do is apply and see what comes of it. It depends on your family's special circumstances as to whether or not you will qualify, and only they can really tell you if you do or don't, and how much you qualify for.
