Backpacking in europe

anyone know how to get over to europe from the east coast USA, for cheap?
i need some good deals for students maybe.
and are there any boat rides to europe? (anywhere in europe)

You can also try Orbitz, they have pretty good deals. That's all planes, since I am at a loss for boat trips to Europe. I Yahoo!ed and I Googled, but I am lost. But I hope those links help!
