When I lost my virginity, I didn't bleed at all. It is different for different people. A couple of my friends bled their first time, but from what they told me, it is not fluent like a period, nor does it bleed right away.

The vaginal passage is partially blocked by a thin layer of skin called the hymen. It breaks and thats what happens. Bleeding varies. You might bleed very little to little. And mostly the bleeding will last for few minutes. The hymen skin is very thin so there is nothing much to worry about the bleeding and the pain. if your guy is patient enough and caring, it helps a lot, he can start by fingering for sometime, letting you control the entry, by letting you on top, so that you dont feel uncomfortable.

Its nothing major. You should be all fine.

He just breaks through a layer of skin, the hymen. It may bleed right there or later. For me, i never bled. Some girls just don't. You bleed just a little or a lot, almost like a light period.

It tears and bleeds a little. Nothing else to it :] You may notice it or not. My friend had to change her sheets, so it's different for everyone.
