Also, you know that mucus-y stuff at the back of your throat? Try to couph it up somehow (Its hard to describe, it's almost like your blowing the stuff from the back of your throat). This is also a big factor in bad breath.
I assume you brush your teeth, so keep that up. Also, flossing makes a difference, too!
Avoid sharp foods such as onions, garlic, coffee, dairy products, spicy foods, and even mints and gum!

xValenciax answered Wednesday November 21 2007, 7:55 am: You should try some Listerine, you can find the bottle anywhere. It's strong but really good. If you have it 2 times a day (In the morning, before you go out and in the night, before you go to bed.) It really helps! Hope it works> x [ xValenciax's advice column | Ask xValenciax A Question ]
prettylol answered Wednesday November 21 2007, 5:32 am: heres some tips
try one of these
*TicTAc mint.. or any mint substance helps combat bad breath
*Ingredients:
baking soda
water
Instructions: mix baking soda in a cup of water then gargle with it
*Rinsing mouth with salt water
*Ingredients: CLOVE (whole)
Instructions: Chew a entire clove or if it's too spicy for you, keep it in your mouth. It's the best for bad breath (even toothache!).
*Rinsing mouth with Lemon and water mixture.
*Ingredients: Hot cup of tea.
Instructions: Drinking a hot cup of tea (preferably unsweetened) helps. This remedy is particulary useful if the bad breath is caused by dry
mouth and for "morning" bad breath.
*Ingredients: Fresh lemon / Salt
Instructions: Use the juice of half a lemon, mixed in lukewarm water, to wash your mouth. Or wash your mouth with lukewarm salt water before going to bed. Really helps.
*Chew some fresh parsley after every meal. This works! Why do you think they started putting fresh parsley on your plate for garnish at restaurants(especially garlic and fish dishes)? By the way, this is the main ingredient in those breath capsules you can buy at the drug store(the only difference is they extract the oil).
