Simple crush or Luv you like a friend?

(i only know her for 6-7mnths) my friend wrote:the reason why I'm writing this letter is because I'm leaving for a couple of months.I really don't know what to say but ill miss you and I love talking to you your crazy and becuz you make fun of me surprisingly I'm ok with that.none of my friends seems to get me like you do.its a good thing Ithink (hmmm).-what do she mean by this note? she know I got gf

Thanks for your question.
I think it's pretty straight forward. Basically, you're the only one who understands her and who she can really bond with and she felt the need to let you know before she goes away.
Now, noone apart from your friend will truly know if she means it in a friendly way, or in an "i like you" way. It does seem pretty friendly, although the last sentence kind of makes you think a little, especially the "hmmm" - if you read into it, it can sound like she wants to say more but isn't sure if she should. OR. She could just be wondering why it's a good thing you make fun of her.
Obviously only she knows, which is why if I were in your position, I'd definitely want to know what she meant by it. :) You should find a way to follow up the letter and simply ask what she meant by "it's a good thing I think. Hmmm" because personally, I think that's rather confusing.
