No place would hire me when I was fourteen, and the only place that would hire me when I was fifteen was fast food restaurants. You probably won't find a job, let alone a decent one. It's best to wait until you are 16. I am, and a lot of places I want to work still won't hire me. It's frustrating, trust me I know. I finally got a job at Subway though. The best thing to do is just wait. Working isn't all it's cracked up to be. You say you want a job so you can go out and do things? Well, when you have a job you work. Since teenagers go to school through the week, they usually work on the weekends. So yeah, you may have a job, and you may have money, but you probably won't have time to spend it. You're still a kid and i'm sure no one expects you to buy the Christmas presents. It's a lot less stressful, and cheaper to either make presents, or Christmas cards. That way you get your good meaning across, without spending a shitload. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]
