well what i would do is i would just take some laughs with him and take it slow and then after you do all of that then find out if he likes you then ask him out. dont go too fast though! I have the same problem im doing this so far things are working out okay well =[ i think he likes someone else! okay now i need advice!

well i asked by borfrnd he said he thought i was annoying too but he liked it,lol so that might help you..dont start annoying him more now,lol but you can start by paying attention to what he says if he talks about something really be interested in it...if he;s mad about a teacher then you talk to him about it and be there for him.
