Balsa wood crisis!!!!!!
I am building a model bridge out of balsa wood, but I'm afraid that I've accidentally built some basswood in there too! I'll be disqualified from the contest if There is anything but balsa wood... so how can I tell the difference between balsa and basswood?! HELPPPPP!

You can see if theres anything else useful here:[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) , but I read it, and the biggest testable difference that I saw was that Basswood won't crush. If you get a small blunt object, check all of the pieces crush. If there are bits that noticably don't dent as much, they're probably basswood.
