black and white with some color

how do you do this? have a black and white picture and then a spot with color?
i have photoshop. but i just dont know how to do this.

Maybe give some free advice about: Random Weirdos?
1. open the picture you what to color spot.
2. destaurate it. [make the whole thing black and white].
3. then, go to the brush tool.
4. invert the back and white boxes and the bottom of the toolbar on the left. example, if black was on top, then flip it to white on top and black on bottom.
5. using the BRUSH tool, color over the parts you want colored.
anything else, just ask. or if i didnt explain this very well, haha. i'm no pro at photoshop, but i consider myself pretty good. (:

you can down picasa. its free.
once you download it, click the picture,
then you like can play with the color and stuff.
click focal black and white. and highlight what you want to stay color. hope i helped!
