music on my phone

Question Posted Monday October 29 2007, 2:24 pm

I want to put music on my verizon lg 8300, but I can only fit a few songs in the phone's memory. I have a microSD card that I use for transferring the music over, but it won't stay in the phone. I have to push on it really hard for it to work, so I can't just leave the music on the card, which makes me really mad, but what can you do. Anyways, is there a program that I can download for free that would reduce the quality of the files or something so they take up less space? Thanks.

Yes, you can use mediacoder to do that:
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
In the "audio" tab, select "copy audio". Then on the right, move the "bitrate/quality" slider. In the "output" tab, select the file destination. Click start at the top, and wait for it to finish.
