Sims 2 skill points?!?

Question Posted Sunday October 28 2007, 7:37 pm

how can i increase my sims's skill points in Sims 2? I have Deluxe (which is normal sims, and nightlife combined) and.. I dont understand the boolprop cheat, if thats the only way to increase skill points. how can i increase certain skills (to the max..) or even increase all my skills really quickly and with barely any effort? thanks alot. heh cause it takes forever to gain skill points when you need them but you also need to make relationships and stuff in the game. heh yeah im kinda lazy and use cheats alot but w/e i like having the sims have perfect lives lol.

You know what? If you use cheats to increase your Sims' skill points, they don't get the aspiration points from gaining the skill points.

That aside, this is how you use the boolprop cheat: type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" into the box, and then shift-click a Sim. There should be an option called "Spawn..." on the pie menu. Choose "Sim Modder" under that, and there should be a grave appearing next to your Sim. Click that and you should have a variety of options, including one that allows you to add skill points to your Sim.

Don't forget that if you want to make them gain skills faster without this cheat, you can get them the thinking cap under aspiration rewards. That way, they get good memories when they maximise their skills.
