unexplained happenings
i need some help brainstorming explained things! i have to write a myth that's modern day, but my god has to have a power that results in unexplained happenings like love. it can't be like the god of thunder and lightening because thunder & lightening can be proven scientifically!
so i'm have a writers block! it's not like i need help writing it, so it's not plagerism.
some good ideas would be appreciated!

Try something like, artistic talent. Explain how muses give people artistic talent and such, that's unexplained. Or how diseases in the world began, no one really knows where diseases first came from. Maybe an angry god did it? Or even intelligence. If you read about the make-up of our brains, it explains nothing about why we are able to be so advanced and other creatures aren't. So that can't exactly be proved scientifially either. Like, a god wanted to see what happened when you have a creature on earth questions. He thinks it will be funny to see so many confused humans around questioning and questioning and getting frustrated and wanting more and more than they first had.
