Question Posted Wednesday October 17 2007, 7:29 pm

i'm a big athlete... 14 year old female standing at 5'10 and 170 lbs... i drink tons of lemon-lime gatorade on a weekly basis. a friend of mine noticed that i have a bottle of gatorade on my desk everyday and pointed out that it deforms eggs because of one of its ingredients called "yellow 5"....is this true? ....i did some research and found nothing.
thanks in advance

"There is an urban legend that the tartrazine in Mountain Dew and candies such as Everlasting Gobstoppers, Skittles, and Starburst cause shrinkage of the testicles and weakening in bones."

It's probably another part adding to the urban legend.
