i my god, i just realized how lost i am
i'm m/17
she's f/16
ok so i've been dating this really cool girl for like 4 months now. before i get into everything, i'll admit that i'm probably over thinking things. ok so yeah i've been dating this chick for like 4 months, she's absolutely perfect for me in just about every sense of the word. like i'm a heavy metal kinda kid, long hair, chuck taylors, band shirts, guitar player, all that stuff. well so is she. she loves going to concerts and she plays guitar and she wears band shirts all the time and she's absolutely beautiful, like i definitely shouldn't be dating a girl as pretty as she is but i am. at this point i'm lost and today i kinda got pissed off at her. now we do all that couple stuff: we see each other a bunch in school, we hang out almost every day, we hold hands, hug, kiss, makeout, all that kinda stuff except for sex but i'm tryin to stay as far away from that as possible. it seems however that i'm the one who always asks to do all that stuff, like i seem to be doing all the effort. in 4 months i think i've asked to hang out every time. that may be understandable though because i have a job and she doesn't know my schedule and i usually tell her what it is anyways. the other stuff worries me more, like hand holding. in 4 months i've always been the one to instigate the handholding. she always goes along with it but after i have to ask or say something and its like that with the kissing too. pretty recently we started doing the whole makeout kissing thing. i had never done it before so she taught me but after i had to practically beg for weeks. i'm always like "are u ok doing this?" or "are u comfortable doing this?" and she always says that she is. like i ask her if she likes doing all those things that couples do and she always says yes but she's never the one to start. she is very shy, much like i am but i don't know, sometimes it hurts because i don't know how into me she is. i told her a few days ago that i love her, and i really do. she told me she didn't know if she loved me yet. i have a feeling that i'm more into her than she is into me but that might not be true because when we hang out and do all that stuff she really does have a good time and she tells me and i can tell she means it. i don't know i just need some help. any advice would be much appreciated. i really don't wanna loose this girl though. i think we're great for each other and honestly i don't care if she loves me yet, she might feel it's too early to say something like that. it's the possibility that she'll never love me that scares me. people reading this prolly won't get it but we are great for each other, like we have nicknames and give each other notes all the time and hang out constantly. i just need some tips, i'm lost.

you seem to be a really great guy, she seems to be a really great girl aswell. Just let her have some time to think about it. I remember when i had a boyfriend, it took me 5 and a half months before i said "i love you" and i meant it. Just talk to her, and ask her how does she really feel about you and stuff. I hope it works out for you.
