okay sorry but seriously, like i said i got grounded and kinda "gave him the note..." and then he wrote me back saying he was gay. now come on! i dont know who to believe. everyone says that he isnt, but he is telling me pretty strongly. and he said if i ever wanted to actually talk instead of passing a note to call him, and he gave me his number. the note says " hey, i dont know how you could like me you dont even know me, if you did know me you would know im gay, it just wouldnt work between us sorry. but if you ever want to talk instead of passing a note my number is..." does he sound serious? i asked him and he said he was, but there are some suspicions raised and im not so sure, just a gut feeling, i dont even know if the # is ligit. i havent called it yet. just wish i knew who was lying and who was telling the truth is all. he says he wants to be my friend but he is gay and it wouldnt work like that. so what do i do darling?

I think he sounded serious enough. But just to be sure, give him a call and see what happens. Or try talking to some of his friends and see what's going on.
But first, I'd try to call the number. If it's him, I'd tell him you just want to be friends for now, and you want to talk to him. Let him talk to you, and see if he really sounds truthful when he's telling you he's gay.
