i'm writing an essay on the french revolution. i started it & it's pretty good, but it needs to be longer, & i need more info. anyone know anything about when/where it began, main figures, how it ended, results of the revolution and why it was significant, or where i can get this information in a short, sweet & to -the-point way rather than a freaking 10-page wikipedia page, i'd really appreciate it=]
brainycheerleader answered Monday October 8 2007, 12:36 pm: the french revolution was mostly caused by economic problems, like a sucky taxation system, natural disasters that triggered famine and poverty, and abuse of royal wealth. marie antoinette played a BIG role in the french revolution. you should mention her "petit trianon" village, and her crazy spending habits. there were a lot of political and social problems too. it was significant because it divided the people of france.
