how do you get rid of really bad split ends without havingur hair cut really short

thats basically the only way to get rid of them. you dont have to get your hair cut really short, but a trim should do. you can do things to prevent them but once they're there, they're there. you can keep your hair healthy by using things like leave in conditioner, heat protecting spray if you blow dry, straighten, etc, or i heard rubbing a small amount of regular conditioner works too. if you want, you can do the conditioner thing on your hair with split ends.. it wont make them go away but itll make them look and feel softer and not so dead.
