i have a newer version of aim(i dont rememer which version), but whenever im online for a few hours, it signes me off and then signes right back in. people tell me all the time that when they try to i.m me sometimes, i just sign off, but its not actually me doing it. why is this doing that? what can i do to make it stop?

AIM randomly kicks people from the system. It seems to like kicking certain people more than others. You can try changing to a different client like pidgin or miranda:

Other than that, there's nothing you can do.

I was once setting up an AIM bot on non-AIM software, and the system would kick it off the system ever 5 minutes. It was so annoying I just abandoned the project.
