Recording

Question Posted Thursday October 4 2007, 3:03 pm

Hi, i have comcast digital cable with on demand. I was wondering how to record something to a vcr tape from on demand (like a movie from the on demand selections onto the vcr).
Please only answer if your sure =]
Thanks in advance!

You need your setup to be in this configuration:

TV
VCR
Cable box
Wall connector

After it is in that configuration, when you press the "record" button on your VCR, it will record everything on the TV. Guides, menus, pauses, fast-forwards, and your on-demand will show up on the video. This isn't illegal, and there is absolutely no way comcast could detect it in any case.
