losing weight

Hi, i'm really trying to lose weight and i want to go to the gym, but i think i'm too fat to go. I know it sounds ridiculus but i went today to check it out and everybody there was lyk twig skinny :s
I also need a way that isnt obvious to my friend to not eat so much...if you know what i mean, its just that she is quite fat too.
I don't know how to explain it but if people know im on a diet they could make fun of me because im admitting im fat...

tell your friend that you ares starting a new diet exercise thing and ask if she wants to do it with you. also when you go to the gym and work out the first thing that happens is you will build muscle which makes you weigh more but it will start to form your shape so you will have to commit to going to the gym for a while because after your muscle is getting bigger, you will then start to lose fat. dont be intimidated about the other people in the gym, they started out like you!

Okay. First, if you felt uncomfortable at the gym, don't give up because you think that every one is going to be like that. They're not. Find a nice place that has nice people. If a lot of people look fit...well I don't know how you can't expect that. I mean they're at a gym and working out. I use yoga class to manage stress, and plus it helps me concentrate and feel better. Try writing down the calorie count and what you eat in a day. I do it, and my friends make fun of me, but hey, it works, and they're still my friends, so what the heck. Don't be embarrassed of losing weight; it's a heck of a lot better than being embarrassed because you're fat. Hope I helped.
