Hi, i'm really trying to lose weight and i want to go to the gym, but i think i'm too fat to go. I know it sounds ridiculus but i went today to check it out and everybody there was lyk twig skinny :s
I also need a way that isnt obvious to my friend to not eat so much...if you know what i mean, its just that she is quite fat too.
I don't know how to explain it but if people know im on a diet they could make fun of me because im admitting im fat...

missbananafontana answered Wednesday October 3 2007, 7:51 pm: Okay. First, if you felt uncomfortable at the gym, don't give up because you think that every one is going to be like that. They're not. Find a nice place that has nice people. If a lot of people look fit...well I don't know how you can't expect that. I mean they're at a gym and working out. I use yoga class to manage stress, and plus it helps me concentrate and feel better. Try writing down the calorie count and what you eat in a day. I do it, and my friends make fun of me, but hey, it works, and they're still my friends, so what the heck.
